hi friends, ShowMix 2.5 Release has been released and added to the downloads. i have finally fixed the last MAJOR bug in ShowMix. XBMC would Crash when trying to customise Menus after browsing Movies, Music or TVShows. Please update your copy of XBMC to SVN:26394 or later & ShowMix to SVN:170, or download the Release copy form the download menu. |

ShowMix 2.5 Public Beta Released NOW! |

hi friends,
ShowMix 2.5 Public Beta has been released and added to the downloads. You can get the zip file by browsing our downloads link. Those of you that are already familiar with Subversion (SVN) can get ShowMix PB 145 (the one tagged as public beta) by checking out from https://showmix.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/showmix/trunk Basic instructions on what to do to get it running can be found at our manual pages, discussion about this release should go to the public beta thread on forum. I'll add a manual for getting svn/ updating from svn for windows, mac and linux later. Have fun with our new version

hi there, members and guests,
it's time for another status update. tadaa ~lol~ andy finished the last part, the music views, some days ago. today we talked about what's next, and we decided we will go to our next phase: we're going to release showmix 2.5B as an open beta to test for the public. we're pretty sure we missed some errors and troubles here and there, and more eyes will hopefully see more than us alone (also different preferences in settings can have different results..). this means we create a zip package as the next official release for showmix on sourceforge for all of you to download from. the fonts can be downloaded here on site, as always. after that, if hopefully all bugs are found & resolved as far as we are able to, we release showmix 2.5. this will be the last version of showmix that will be aeon-based! the plans for showmix 3.0 are to use our talents in graphics and coding to build a complete new skin and getting rid of aeon's way of displaying content... i guess that will be cool

hi friends,
as we get closer to the release of showmix 2.5, we agreed that we will do all beta testing and recommendations relate to XBMC Camelot Beta1 at this given moment. This is to ensure all bug reports/ beta tests will be done under same preferences. So this means: unless told otherwise, our recommendation for ShowMix 2.5 is to use it on Camelot Beta1. |
